Every year our Reading Fun Day committee coordinates with businesses, organizations, and local schools to put together Reading Fun Day. "What is Reading Fun Day?" you ask. Reading Fun Day is a FREE event that provides families a day to celebrate and encourage literacy through games and activities. There is something for young children, teens, and even adults. FREE books will be provided to birth thru 5 years old by our co-sponsor Craven Smart Start while our council will provide a FREE book to school aged children, kindergarten thru 12th grade. Adults will have a table for trading books.
